Well-Being Concerts are designed to offer an immersive experience that combines live music, mindfulness, and art-making. Each event is created through a collaborative process involving musicians, artists, wellness experts, audience members, and partner organizations.
Rooted in the belief that creative expression can significantly enhance individual and collective well-being, the project invites audience members not only to listen, but to actively engage in the experience. This series was inspired by a growing need for accessible, inclusive opportunities that support mental, emotional, and social health.
Attendees will be provided with various materials and encouraged to create art in response to the live music. All pieces donated after the show will be assembled into a community collage, to be displayed at the Missoula Public Library.
Participation is optional, you may come to simply enjoy the music!
This series is produced by Crescendo Concerts in partnership with the Missoula Public Library and Carnegie Hall Weill Music Institute. Thanks to the Missoula Community Foundation LoLa Grant and the Friends of the Library for their generous support.
“As soon as I walked into the room, I felt my heart rate going down. I felt my breathing coming back. And it just continued throughout the event"
